  1. Use this popup menu to specify the notehead type you want to change.

  3. Type the scale degree here for which you want the selected notehead to have a different shape.
  4.  
  5. To increase or decrease the scale degree, click these arrows.
  6.  
  7. Type the letter that corresponds to the replacement notehead shape (in the music font) here.
  8.  
  9. Hint: It‚Äôs easier to click Select and choose from a palette.
  10.  
  11. The replacement noteheads you‚Äôve specified are visible in the score. To restore normal noteheads, click this box.

  13. To apply these notehead-shape settings to the score, click this box.
  14.  
  15. To choose a replacement notehead shape, click this button.
  16.  
  17. To close the dialog box without saving any changes, click this button.
